Jorden E Miernik-Walker is currently the Arts Enrichment Coordinator for the University of Memphis Barbara K. Lipman Early Learning and Research Center. She has been an Arts Educator since 2006 and a Paint Memphis Artist since 2017. Miernik-Walker works making art with very young artists during the day and her own children at home at night. She is very inspired by children and how they create. If it’s not simple shapes then it’s they way they are laid down. Miernik-Walker’a art is more personal and dealing with the female body as broken down into shapes. She gets inspiration from Children’s art, Train graffiti, Music, Shapes and Women’s reproductive Rights.
