Paint Memphis Artist in Residence

join us at the festival October 12th to check out the Paint Memphis shirts he designs and the mural he creates for this year!

Jamond Bullock is a native of Memphis Tennessee, where he has worked as an art teacher for Shelby County Schools and performance painter for special events. After graduating college, he began painting live and using a local Starbucks as a studio art gallery. The coffee shop became a place for Bullock to meet clients and paint.

In 2013, he founded @alivepaint, a visual arts company tailored to his creativity and artistic vision. Bullock is popular for mixing and matching colors that would seem senseless together to create a flow of visual harmony and can be seen painting live at weddings, concerts, fundraisers, auctions, or on large-scale public art murals.

He lives by the motto, Be Bold, Be Free, Be Alive; this tagline reminds him to keep freedom in his creative process, to have fun with life, and enjoy the happy accidents along the way
